Rod Series Explained

CTS uses three distinct technology levels within each of its ranges.

Each range will have the same overall action, but the varying technology levels dictate the blank's overall dimensions, responsiveness and weight.

CTS Technology Levels

                      

Our Sport series level uses a 100% carbon with scrim backing. This level is best described as the industry standard, and our blanks at this level are solid, great performing and well priced.

           

At this level CTS introduces its unique carbon spiral (helical) core. This level can truly boast a 100% carbon construction with no scrim based materials.

Our carbon helical improves the cross sectional stability of the blank, improving its responsiveness at strike and its power in high loading situations.

Our Pro series blanks are around 10–15% lighter than our standard series and exceed the performance of carbon scrim based products.

This level is truly ‘state of the art’. The Tournament series uses our carbon spiral/helical core and our latest ‘Modulus Replacement Technology’ (MRT).

This new type of construction enables us to place totally different modulus materials at each part of the blank. Unlike traditional multi-modulus systems which lay materials of differing modulus together, our new MRT system is all together different, taking blank manufacture to a new level.

Our Tournament series is around 15-20% lighter than our Pro series.
